“Moving countries is never easy: new language, new neighbors, new job, etc. I moved to Belfast during covid times and making new friends was extra difficult, even after a few months after the lockdown. Many times I felt lonely and tired. But the couple that runs Boyle’s Bakery made my days warmer. They were smiley and welcomely, always showing interest in my culture and my wellbeing. They even supported me by showing posters of my business in the windows of their bakery. I will never forget our conversations and the taste of their Belfast bap.”
